Wanderful.Stream maps residual streams of SMEs in the Euregion, seeking to valorize them with the help of designers, technology experts, and business developers. Wanderful.stream is both interdisciplinary and Euregional. As an Interreg project in the Meuse-Rhine Euregion, it steers small and medium-sized enterprises towards a more circular economy. It crosses borders between disciplines and regions, and initiates new collaborations. The name ‘stream’ is not just a reference to residual streams. It also refers to important spearheads in education. The international acronym S T E M stands for Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics, adding an extra discipline with Arts. It is this S T E A M which powers the search for new products and business models. Wanderful.stream is a catalyst for new circular models and products. It is driven by eight partner organizations active in Belgian and Dutch Limburg, Wallonia, and the German region of Aachen.

Wanderful.Stream’s goal is to provide small and medium-sized enterprises with free coaching and mentoring in the transition to a more circular economy. It draws attention to the added value of interdisciplinary collaboration across borders in the Euregion and across different business sectors. Wanderful.stream seeks to give tangible expression to the impact of interdisciplinary cross-fertilization on residual streams, by developing 40 prototypes of innovative products.
