Diversity, accessibility, and inclusion in Dutch science museums and science centers
Discovery Museum is one of the museums participating in the multi-year Samen Inclusief (Inclusive Together) programme. Under this programme, VSC and its members are working together closely to improve diversity and inclusion. We share knowledge and support each other in involving everyone in science and technology, contributing to a more inclusive sector and society. The other participating VSC members are Beeld en Geluid, Museon, Natura Docet museum, Naturalis, NEMO, Oyfo Techniekmuseum, Rijksmuseum Boerhaave and Zuiderzeemuseum. With the support of the Mondriaan Fund and in cooperation with Ecsite and other partners, we form a tight-knit learning network that promotes diverse, accessible, and inclusive science museums and science centres.
